Privacy Policy — tgdr

Effective date: August 15th, 2026

Last updated: August 12th, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how TGDR ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects the personal information of people who use the tgdr mobile application ("tgdr", the "App").

If you have questions or want to exercise any of the rights described below, email us at [email protected].

1. What we collect

Account information. When you sign up we store the email address associated with your Apple ID (via Sign in with Apple) or the email/password you provided. We also store the display name you choose. If you opted for the Apple "Hide My Email" relay, we only ever see the relay address.

Profile information you provide. Display name, optional birthday, optional sex/gender, chosen accent color, and optional custom category icons.

Content you create. Memories (titles, descriptions, dates, locations, tags, photos, voice notes), calendar events, reminders, bucket-list items, expenses, gift ideas, milestones, love notes, visited countries, partner "facts" and private notes. All of this is stored securely in our database (Supabase) and, for photos and voice notes, our object storage.

Couple relationship data. The date you started dating, whether you celebrate monthly, and the invite code you share with your partner. Once your partner joins, both accounts are linked to the same "couple" record.

Subscription state. If you subscribe to tgdr Pro, we store the identifier of your active subscription and its renewal date so both partners see Pro status. Payment itself is handled entirely by Apple — we never see or store your payment method.

Push notification tokens. If you enable notifications, we store the token Apple issues so we can deliver notifications through Apple Push Notification service (APNs).

Diagnostic information. We do not use third-party analytics, tracking SDKs, ad networks, or fingerprinting. We do not track you across other apps or websites. Basic crash and performance data may be shared with Apple through the standard iOS diagnostics you control in your device's Privacy & Security settings.
